Achievements – MIMS Physiotherapy

Conducted and Participated in Medical Camps from MIMS Hospital — Evaluated & Treated Patients since 2004.
Conducted a Statelevel Workshop on “ Spinal Radiology in Virtual Animation” on 28th & 29th July at SRET College of Physioterapy , MIMS Campus , Vizianagaram- 2012.
Conducted a National level “ Indian Association of Physiotherapists” Exam on 18th November at SRET College of Physiotherapy , MIMS Campus, Vizianagaram-2012.
Conducted a Hands on Workshop on Whole Body Manipulations on 30th, 31stJuly & 1stAugust -2015 at SRET College of Physiotherapy, Vizianagaram.
All the Students attended International Workshop on Gerontology & Geriatric Medicine from 25th to 29th February- 2013 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences – AIIMS , New Delhi , India.
Our Staff and Students Participated and treated several patients in Medical Camps.
Our Students won 1st Prize in Quiz Competition which was Conducted in a State Level Physioherapy Conference held at Vizainagaram in the year 2013.
Our Student by name Kavya Narayanam secured 2nd Rank in All India Entrance Test Examination Conducted by Manipal University, Karnataka.
Our Student by name Sethana Secured 11thRank in Common Entrance Test Examination Conducted by Sree Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati.
Our Staff : K. Nagaraju sir Won Gold Medal for Best Paper Presentation in OrthoPhysio Con Conference held at Vishakapatnam in the Year -2012.
Our Student Narayanam Kavya Won Silver medal in Ortho Physio Con Conference for Best Paper Presentation on Pyriformis Syndrome which was held at Vizag in the year 2012.
Our Student by name K. Sailaja Sruti did a Poster Presentation in Ortho Physio Con at Vizag in the year -2012.
Our Bachelor of Physiotherapy Students by Name Narayanam Kavya & K. Sailaja Sruti received Gold Medals for Best Out going Students in the year 2013.
Our Student by name Jhansi got Selected and Participated in a Medical Camp at Assam & Arunachal Pradesh, regarding Preventive measures for Disability people under “Disability Rehabilitation Programme” Conducted by National Intitute on Medical Health in the Year 2013.
Our M. P. T Student by name Prasanna Kumari got University 2nd Topper in M. P. T Orthopaedics – 2012-13 batch.
Our Staff : Supriya Madam did Paper Presentation in a National Conference Conducted by All India Association of Physiotherapists at Vizag in the year 2014.
Our Student by name Divya Deepika presented a Case Study on Muscular Dystrophy in a Conference at Vizag conducted by Vizag Association of Physiotherapy and received a Consolation Prize in the year -2014.
Conducted a State Level Physiotherapy Workshop on First Aid & CPR at SRET College of Physiotherapy , MIMS Campus, Vizianagaram in the year 2014
Our Physiotherapy Students has given articles and it was published in Physiocon -2014 Journal by All India Physiotherapy Association Journal in the year -2014-15.
Our Student by name Datta Sai got Distinction in the year 2017 & got First Prize in Paper presentation in a National Workshop held in the year 2017.
Our students attended “SMAYANA” Programme Conducted by MIMS-Campus in the year 2017.
Our students attended “National Women Parliament Programme” Conducted at Pavitrasangamam – Amaravathi in the year 2017.
Our students contributed for “AKSHADA” Programme by distributing Food Items , Bedsheets and other utensils for those who are in need Conducted by MIMS-Campus in the year 2017 .
Our staff by name Dr. Nagarjuna sir did Paper Presentation in International Physiotherapy Conference conducted by IAP in the year 2018.
Our Students by name G. Amruth Raj , Tanusha & Shasanka did poster presentation in 1st International Physiotherapy Conference conducted by IAP at Madhurai in the year 2018.
Our students by name Sahithya won gold medal in shootput, Tabletennis runner & Relay bronze medal.
Niharika & Sweety gupta won bronze medals in Relay and TT Competitions, Tanussha – relay bronze ,Akhil, Kiran, sagar – TT runners in Ayush & Physiotherapy Intercollege Competitions held at Gudivada, Rajahmundry.
Our staff by name Prof. Siddardh, PG’S and Interns has given service to all the National Badminton Players in National Masters Badminton Chamionship conducted by Lakshya Academy at Vizag in the year 2018.
Our student by name Sweety Gupta got second prize out of Ten Colleges participation in Table Tennis held at GSL Medical College , Rajahmundry in the year 2018.
From the Year 2018, we have extended our Physiotherapy services to Rural Health Centre , MIMS RHC – Ramatheerdham, MIMS Urban Health Centre –Phoolbagh , Gynaecology wards –Nellimarla .
Our Student by name P Jaswanth got 1st Prize in chess in Inter College Competitions conducted by VAPMS College of Physiotherapy in the year 2018 .
One of our Staff by name Nagarjuna N has presented a Research Paper on “ STRENGTH TRAINING IN PERSONS WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE” in Indian Journam of applied Research in the year 2019.
Our student by name P L Hayagreeva Acharyulu got 2nd Prize in solo singing in AAPCON National Conference at Vizag in the year 2019.
Our BPT Student by name Jayasree won 2nd Prize in electution for Right to Vote before 2019 Elections .
Our Intern by name Niharika published an article in “ Documented Physiotherapeutic Approach in Post Corrective Osteotomy procedure for Gunstock Deformity caused by Old Supracondylar Fracture Malunion “ INDIAN JOURNAL OF PHYSIOTHERAPY “ – 2019.
Our Students are attending National wide, State wide Conferences and workshops all over INDIA since 2006.
